There are two key aspects of an effective video interview: the look of the shot and the feel of the subject. Both are important.

I am adept at making my subjects look great and feel comfortable. My interviewees (who are often CEOs) always compliment me on how comfortable they feel while working with me. That comfort level comes across in the video.
